Women Campaign Organizer and Representative of RSUR.
Rohingya Students Unity for Rights (RSUR) proudly recognizes and presents Sufia Khatun as a committed Rohingya woman representative, Women Campaign Organizer , humanitarian worker and Women right Activist within RSUR . She currently serves as the Representative of Camp-26 and Women Organizer with RSUR, contributing actively to community development, women’s empowerment and human rights advocacy inside the refugee camps.
Sufia Khatun’s life journey is shaped by exile, responsibility and resistance. Though her family originally comes from Myanmar, she was born in Bangladesh after they fled persecution 34 years ago. Growing up in displacement taught her that survival alone is not enough — dignity, education, protection and voice are essential for a community’s future.
She has three years of teaching experience and has served as a computer office management co-trainer. In addition, she has received training and practical experience in caregiving, firefighting, and emergency response. Through these roles, she has demonstrated that leadership is grounded in service, especially during times of crisis and vulnerability.
