Mark Goudkamp
Australian Representative of RSUR
Mark Goudkamp, a high school English as an Additional Language teacher of newly arrived refugee and migrant students, has been a refugee rights advocate for 25 years. He co-founded the Refugee Action Coalition in 2000, and Teachers for Refugees in 2014.
Mark is a state councillor for the NSW Teachers Federation, a Vice President of the Canterbury Bankstown Teachers Association, an elected member of the union's anti-racism policy committee, and an elected delegate to the federal conference of the Australian Education Union.
Mark is also the Australian representative of Rohingya Students Unity for Rights (RSUR), which runs a school and organised emergency relief and material aid in the Cox's Bazar refugee camp in Bangladesh.
