Meet Mamun Rashid i son of Jafar and He is originally from Merrullah Puk Para, Maungdaw Township, Myanmar, where he was born and spent his childhood. His early life was deeply rooted in his village which remains a source of strong memories and identity for him.

After being forced to flee Myanmar, Mamun now lives in Camp 3, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The transition to camp life brought many challenges and hardships but he did not give up with determination and hope, he continued his education and studied at Kayaphuri High School where he completed Grade 12.

He achieved distinctions in English and Biology, accomplishments that strengthened his confidence and gave him courage to move forward. He has a deep love for learning and a strong passion for helping others.
