Ro Maung Hla Myint Arafat is Co-founder & Executive Director of Rohingya Students Unity for Right (RSUR), Humanitarian Expert ,Human Right Defender, Documentary Photographer , Photojournalist, Visual Storyteller ,From Bangladesh. He was Born on April 1, 1999, in Myint Hlut, Maungdaw township, Rakhine State of Myanmar, he was raised by his parents—Mv. Abdu Rohim, Vice Chairman of Madarasa Darul Olum Hakimpara with values of justice, equality and respect for human rights.

He completed high school in myanmar before coming to bangladesh and being forced to flee Myanmar during the rohingya crisis on 25th August 2017. Since then, he has been living with his family in the Cox’s Bazar refugee camp in Bangladesh which now shelters more than 1.1 million rohingya refugees.

Ro Maung Hla Myint Arafat is a university student at International Islamic University of Chittagong (IIUC) and currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature (ELL) ). Passionate about language, literature and communication, Arafat is focused on developing strong academic and practical skills in English to prepare for future community development .
