
Winter Festival
The RSUR have been supporting the rohingya refugee with emergency Relief such as winter blanket, Warm clothes.
The Winter Festival for Rohingya Refugees a humanitarian initiative aimed at alleviating the hardship facing by Rohingya refugee families during the cold winter season qne Living in temporary shelters with limited protection, winter becomes a critical period for refugees, particularly for children, elderly people and women who are highly vulnerable to cold-related illnesses and health risks.

This project focused on providing essential winter relief items to ensure warmth and dignity for the refugee community. Through this initiative, 500 sets of warm clothes were distributed to children, men and women, along with 200 blankets for the most vulnerable households.
These items played a vital role in helping families cope with low temperatures and improving their daily living conditions during winter season and
the project was implemented in Camp 14, Camp 15, Camp 19 and Camp 27, ensuring broad coverage across different areas of the Rohingya refugee settlement and RSUR team supported the identification of vulnerable families and assisted in the fair and transparent distribution process.
This initiative was funded by individual donors and friends, whose generous support made it possible to respond promptly to urgent winter needs and the project was supported and facilitated by Rohingya Students Unity for Right (RSUR), an organization working to uplift and advocate for the rights, dignity and welfare of the Rohingya community and the RSUR played a key role in coordination, community engagement and smooth implementation of the project on the ground.

The material assistance, the Winter Festival for Rohingya Refugees symbolized solidarity, compassion and collective responsibility and
the project contributed to reducing winter-related suffering, strengthening community resilience and demonstrating how collaborative efforts between individual donors and community-led organizations can create meaningful and lasting impact for displaced and vulnerable populations.
